Samuel Phillips
Mechanic
Samuel grew up in Phenix City, Alabama on a small petting farm. After high school, he did a 4-month internship in Zambia, Africa with a local Christian ministry. There he knew he wanted to be a missionary pilot and aircraft mechanic. After gaining the FAA-required practical experience for his aircraft mechanics certificate by working in a maintenance shop in Washington State, he attended Baker’s School of Aeronautics where he earned his Aircraft mechanic certificate with
both airframe and powerplant ratings. Outside of work Samuel enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy fishing and working on their small farm. He hopes to one day serve overseas as a pilot and mechanic with an aviation ministry.
